Aurora Head-On Collision
Sunday afternoon, August 23rd, 2020 a Mitsubishi sedan and Ford F-150 were traveling down North Airport Boulevard near East 22nd Avenue. The Mitsubishi, heading southbound in the northbound lanes, collided head-on with the F-150. Each vehicle carried one man, the sedan driver was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene, while the F-150 driver was transported to a local hospital.
In light of immediate investigation, the F-150 driver did not appear to have any alcohol or speed factors that affected the crash. However, due to an ongoing investigation, those same factors cannot be determined by the Mitsubishi driver quite yet.
